I have never got in trouble when I was a kid. I always followed the rules as I grew up. However, in high school I started dating someone and that lead me to the wrong way. I didn't do anything illegal, but I started lying to my academy teachers telling them I was sick, and go on a date with my girlfriend. I even told my school teacher I was sick to get out of school early to go see her. I lied to to my parents a lot too. I would tell them I was going to the library, but all I did was just hang out with her.
Now that I think about it, I was so lucky that I didn't caught because I lied to my parents and teachers A LOT. Also, I don't know what I was thinking. I had a very important test in my life coming up, and all I could think about was my girlfriend.
Even after I broke up I didn't tell my parents about it. I still feel so bad, but I learned my lesson and I'm never going to lie about anything like that ever again.

Blog #2
I have a life experience that matches the proverb "Knowledge is like a garden: if it is not cultivated, it cannot be harvested." I had that experience about a few weeks ago.
I have always hated the subject science ever since elementary. It was a tough subject for me so I gave up. It never affected me in any ways because that subject wasn't a requirement for me to go to college in Korea. However, as I came to the states to study kinesiology, biology was a class I needed for my major. Since I didn't even know the basics of biology, I couldn't understand anything even when I tried studying with my textbook. In the end, I had to ask my brother for help, so he started teaching me biology through phone calls. Turns out, I had to learn from the very beginning which was middle school level science.
That experience taught me a lesson. Knowledge isn't something to can gain overnight. You have to start from the bottom and cultivate it like a garden. Otherwise, it can't be harvested meaning that you can't earn knowledge.

Hi! My name is Yoonna Lee and I'm an international student from Korea. I have interest in physical activity and sports such as basketball. I used to love working out and running around all the time, but I hurt my ankle and had surgery. Because of that, I failed getting into college in Korea, so I came to the U.S. to study kinesiology. As I said, my hobby used to be working out, but since I can't work out as I used to, I now enjoy watching Netflix.
One thing you might find interesting about me is that I've learned teakwondo for nine years. I started when I was 9 years old, and kept going on until high school. Another thing interesting (or rather strange) about me is that sometimes I can be a neat freak. I need to keep everything straight in line and all facing the right way. However, this only happens when I'm in a good mood. If I'm in a bad mood I wouldn't bother whether they are in order or not.
p.s. This is my dog and he is cute so I'm just going to post him for no good reason.
